In a world that is rapidly digitalising, the onus is on legislative offices to make their digital resources comprehensible and accessible to the public. This essay critically analyses three foundational pillars that can serve as guiding principles for legislative offices aiming to design digital literacy programs or resources: plain language, intuitive interface design, and rigorous user testing.
